Clear agreements protect everyone. These are the terms that apply to using this website and any services I offer.

Agreement to terms.

By accessing or using anniemhenderson.com or any of my services, products, programs, or communications (collectively, "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or services.

Who I am.

These Services are provided by Annie M. Henderson, Certified Professional Life Coach and former Licensed Professional Counselor.

What I offer.

• 1:1 Coaching through booked sessions and packages.
• Liberated Lesbian Membership, an ongoing group community and program.
• Books and digital products available for purchase or download.
• Podcast, free content, and educational resources.
• Workshops, courses, and meditations as offered.

Coaching is not therapy.

This is the most important section, please read carefully.

Although I'm a former Licensed Professional Counselor, in my current role as a Certified Professional Life Coach, I do not provide clinical mental health treatment, diagnosis, or therapy. Coaching is a forward-focused, collaborative process designed to help you create change in your life.

Coaching is not a substitute for:

• Mental health therapy or counseling.
• Psychiatric treatment or medication management.
• Medical advice or treatment.
• Substance abuse treatment.
• Crisis intervention.

If you are in crisis, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or in need of clinical mental health support, please contact a licensed therapist, your primary care provider, or call/text 988 in the United States. International readers should contact local emergency services or crisis lines.

Your responsibility.

You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and outcomes. Coaching offers tools, frameworks, and reflection. What you do with them is yours. I'm not responsible for results or for life decisions you make as a result of our work together.

By engaging in coaching, you confirm that you are mentally and emotionally able to participate, and that you'll seek appropriate support outside of coaching when needed.

Payment and refunds.

• Coaching packages are paid in advance and are non-refundable once sessions begin.
• Membership fees are billed on a recurring basis and are non-refundable for the current billing period. You can cancel anytime to stop future charges.
• Books and digital products are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, except where required by law.
• Workshops and courses have refund terms specified at the time of purchase.

If you have a billing concern, please email anniemhenderson@gmail.com and we'll work to resolve it.

Cancellations and rescheduling.

For 1:1 coaching sessions:

• I ask for at least 24 hours notice to reschedule a session.
• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be forfeited.
• Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in adjusted booking practices.

Confidentiality.

What you share in coaching is confidential. I will not share session details with anyone without your written permission, with these limited exceptions:

• If there is imminent risk of harm to yourself or others.
• If required by court order or law.
• If you give explicit consent for testimonials or case studies.

Intellectual property.

All content on this website, in my books, courses, meditations, podcasts, and programs, including text, audio, video, images, and frameworks, is owned by me or used with permission. You're welcome to enjoy and benefit from this work, but please do not:

• Copy, redistribute, or resell any content.
• Republish my writing or content as your own.
• Use my name, image, or work in misleading ways.

Sharing a quote with attribution and a link back to the source is welcome and appreciated.

Code of conduct.

In coaching sessions, the membership community, and any group spaces I host, I expect:

• Respect for me, for other members, and for yourself.
• Confidentiality regarding what others share in group settings.
• Engagement in good faith with the work.

I reserve the right to end coaching engagements or membership access for behavior that is harmful, abusive, or repeatedly disruptive. Refunds in such cases are at my discretion.

Disclaimers and limitations.

I do my best work, but I can't guarantee specific outcomes. Personal growth depends on many factors beyond my control. The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

Third-party links.

This site may link to third-party websites or services. I am not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites. Use them at your own discretion.

Changes to these terms.

I may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
